Prevent Suicide Greater Milwaukee (PSGM) is a coalition of volunteers representing local agencies and organizations as well as the general community. PSGM is part of the state-wide initiative, Prevent Suicide Wisconsin (PSW). We are a community coalition working together to reduce the number of attempted and completed suicides. We are an open coalition and invite new members who are interested in the cause of suicide prevention. We often refer to ourselves as PSGM for short. We are a no-pressure coalition! To belong can mean you attend a training “here and there” or you run an elaborate workgroup.

Out and About in the Community
We are often asked to have a booth or table at a resource fair. We attend these events in order to educate the public about suicide prevention. We are also asked to give presentations regarding suicide prevention at schools, churches, and other venues. We use our pool of expert speakers within PSGM to meet this need.
